Danny Alexander

Dr. Alexander is currently in his twenty-fourth year at Southwestern. During his tenure, he served for eight years, (1992-2000), as the university’s Vice President for Academics. He also was a member of the Board of Directors of the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges. An ordained minister with the North Texas District Council of the Assemblies of God, Dr. Alexander’s ministry has encompassed numerous roles: youth minister, music minister, seminar speaker, and evangelist. For thirteen years, Dr. Alexander was Co-Pastor of First Assembly of God in Commerce, Texas. Alexander’s ministry not only includes preaching but also ministry in song and music. Dr. Alexander and his wife, Dr. Amy Alexander, constantly travel ministering in seminars and revival services, in addition to their responsibilities at the university.



Rob Price

Rob Price began teaching at SAGU in 2006. Prior to joining Southwestern's faculty, Rob served seven years as the media outreach pastor at Lakeview Church in Indianapolis. He developed a communications department featuring video and print elements to promote the Gospel and the ministries of the church. He also embraced other ministry roles while at Lakeview including teaching, preaching, counseling and other pastoral responsibilities.

In addition to working at the local church level, Rob brings students several years of experience as a producer/reporter for the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), an international television ministry based out of Virginia Beach. His duties at CBN included traveling around the world in producing feature testimonies, ministry promotions and fund-raising stories for the 700 Club and Operation Blessing.

Rob has also worked several other jobs in radio, television, print, and public relations during his ministry career. These include: a radio DJ in Springfield, Missouri, a newspaper reporter/editor for Today Newspapers in the south Dallas area, and a stint as a camera operator for the Dallas Mavericks and other professional Dallas sports teams.

He earned his master's degree in 1997 at Regent University in TV/Cinema and his bachelor's degree in 1991 at Evangel University in Broadcasting/Journalism. Rob's wife, Sharon, is also an instructor at SAGU in the business department. They have four children ages 6 to 14.



Skip Redd

Skip Redd joined the faculty of Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 1998. He brought with him seven years of experience teaching in higher education at a sister college, Southeastern Assemblies of God College. During his 16 years of teaching he has traveled extensively with music and drama groups representing Assemblies of God Schools. He has conducted seminars and workshops in the fields of music and media. He has supported the Fine Arts Program in many areas of competition, judging on the national level as well as in several regions and districts of the Assemblies of God. His experience includes missions' trips to Europe, Venezuela, Jamaica, and Mexico. He has directed over 40 productions and worked at Walt Disney World EPCOT Center and Disney/MGM Studios.

An ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1985, Skip Redd’s ministry has comprised of 30 years of full, part, and interim time staff positions in Colorado, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Florida and Texas.

His responsibilities at the university include Communication Arts Departmental Chair, Director of Media Services, and drama director. As part of the faculty he helped develop and expand the Communication Arts program to include the current 4 year degree program. He earned his master's in Music Education in 1979 from the University of Colorado, a master's degree 1993 from Regent University in Communication with an emphasis on TV Production and Film, and is currently completing a Ph. D. in Communication Arts.

Skip and his wife Claudia have four children and two grandchildren.
