- Important Summer Financial Aid Information

Are you thinking about taking summer courses? Do you normally receive a Pell grant? If so, there’s some important information that you need to know:

- Each student wishing to receive financial aid for the summer semester must complete a Summer Financial Aid Application. The Financial Aid Office will process your application and let you know what aid you have available for the summer semester. You can complete an application online by clicking here.
- New federal regulations now allow students to receive a Pell grant in the summer semester! If you received a Pell grant this past fall/spring semester, you can likely also receive a Pell grant for the summer semester if you enroll in at least 6 hours. Complete a Summer Financial Aid Application to find out how much Pell grant you are eligible for.

Are you good at trivia? Do you like winning prizes? If so, you are going to love Distance Education Week! DE Week is an opportunity for us to recognize and honor you - our distance education students. Beginning on Monday, March 8, we'll send out a trivia question each morning. Be sure to log into your LionMail account each day to view and reply to the trivia question of the day. All replies must be submitted by 8:00AM the following morning. We will randomly draw the winner from all of the correct responses. Please join in the fun and enjoy the opportunity to win some great prizes!

Are you taking courses during the Summer 2010 semester? Course selection is now available for you through your eCAMS Student Portal.
When selecting courses through eCAMS, you will have the opportunity to add comments or questions. Your course scheduler will carefully review your course selections, questions, and comments and then respond accordingly to you at your LIONmail account. If you need assistance before selecting courses, your scheduler will be available to assist you here as well.

Once your course selections are complete, you will be able to finalize your Summer 2010 registration in eCAMS beginning April 20th.

Let your professors know how you are doing by completing Progress Report #2. Please log into Blackboard and complete Progress Report #2 by Friday, March 12 for each course in which you are enrolled. Failure to complete a progress report may result in you being administratively withdrawn from your course.
