Seven hundred and fifty parents, sponsors, and prospective students were in attendance at SAGU’s Spring 2008 Campus Days, breaking the previous record of 701 set in 2007.  Guests came from various states, both near and far, to participate in the event.

Campus Days gives prospective students an opportunity to visit the campus and experience Southwestern for themselves.  According to Mark Molina, Director of On Campus Admissions, “Our prayer is that students have a complete, impactful experience at Campus Days and it can be the defining factor in their decision for their higher education.”

The diverse activities of Campus Days included campus tours, a BBQ dinner, academic fair, Southwestern Live, a block party, jazz and java, late night worship, chapel, and opportunities to sit in on classes.  Christine Tijerina, a future SAGU student, commented, “My heart is definitely for Southwestern. When I visited there during Campus Days I truly felt the Lord give me a burden for this school and I'm very excited to get involved in areas of ministry there!”
