Waxahachie, Texas- October 13, 2015- The S outhwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) cheerleading team are looking for all future Lion’s cheerleaders. This year’s Pee Wee Cheer Camp date has been set, and your aspiring cheerleaders are invited.
Motion technique and jumps will be taught, but according to cheer coach Kaitlyn Hudgins that isn’t the highlight of camp, “It seems as though the favorite part of camp is just getting to spend time with older cheerleaders because many of the girls want to be cheerleaders when they get older. They can expect to spend a lot of exclusive time with the SAGU cheerleaders and it’s always fun to watch them interact.”
Cheer Camp is set for October 24, 2015 from 8:30-11:30am in the Claxton gymnasium. All girls ages four to 11 years old are welcome to attend. Cost is $25 which includes a t-shirt, snack and two tickets to the 2:00pm football game. The pee wee cheerleaders will perform during halftime of the football game against Wayland University.
To register, contact Hudgins at [email protected] or Beverly Robinson at [email protected] . Please include name, age and t-shirt size. Must register by Friday, October 16, 2015 to receive a t-shirt.
