Kissimmee, Florida – November 28 th , 2017 – The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) women’s soccer won against Ottawa University (Arizona) with a score of 3-0 in the first round of the NCCAA Division I National Women’s Tournament .

The Lady Lions played an overall great performance in the first round of the NCCAA Tournament. SAGU managed to put up nine shots in the first half and eight in the second half for a total of 17 in the game. In the first half, senior Nadine Jaimes scored two goals: the first goal was 30 minutes into the period and the second came with eight minutes left in the period. Jaimes finished off her hat trick in the second half by kicking in SAGU’s third and final goal off an assist from freshman Lauryn Cabudol. Goalkeeper Sarah Palmer also had five saves for the Lady Lions.

The Lady Lions will move onto the next round of play on and face-off against #2 seed Concordia University Ann Arbor at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday November 29, 2017.
