He uses his expertise engage students in appreciating and valuing the word of God. In his ministry he seeks to promote the truth of God’s word and encouraging the lifelong commitment to make disciples.

Background:

Dr. Langston has taught at SAGU for the past 25 years. He teaches courses  such as Bible Study, Old Testament, Historical Books and Church Resource Management. Before his time at SAGU, Dan served as a youth pastor, Christian school administrator.  Dr. Langston has served as an Interim pastor for several churches and  also served as Chaplain with the U.S. Army, deployed with Operation Iraqi Freedom 2, in 2004.
