Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education
The Music Education degree teaches the fundamentals of music theory, forms and analysis, aural theory, and choral and instrumental arranging. Students will learn techniques of composing, arranging choral and instrumental arranging; techniques of composing, arranging, analyzing music, as well as aural recognition; classify composers and musical compositions according to their time periods; and apply basic proficiency in a major and minor performance. In addition, the program prepares students for state certification and teaching music for grades K-12 in Christian, private, or public classrooms around the world.
