Oklahoma City, OK- The Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) revealed its 2019-20 Men’s All-Conference Team and individual awards earlier this week. The awards were voted on by the SAC head coaches. Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was well represented as they had four players that were recognized for their accomplishments this season.

Kentton Williams makes Third Team SAC and NAIA All-Star Game

Players & Awards

  • Nyk Mason ( SO/Frisco, TX ) took home the biggest prize of all as he was named SAC Player of the Year, He made the First Team All-Conference as a unanimous selection. Mason averaged 23.7 PPG shooting 61% from the field. He also averaged 6.5 RPG, 2.2 APG, and 1.1 SPG.
  • Noah Boling ( FR/Van Alstyne, TX ) was named the SAC Freshman of the Year. This is the second-straight season a SAGU player won this award as Mason did it last season. Boling was a lockdown defender throughout the season. Boling averaged 4.3 PPG, a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio, 1.6 RPG and just under one steal per game. He did a little bit of everything for the Lions.
  • Josh Kashila ( JR/Euless, TX ) made Third-Team All-Conference as he averaged 17.5 PPG on 44% shooting including 36% from behind the arc. He also managed 6.9 RPG,  and led the Lions in assists with 3.6 APG  and steals with 1.4 SPG.
  • Kentton Williams ( SR/Levelland, TX ) also made Third Team All-Conference. Williams had an inside and outside presence offensively averaging 15.8 PPG on 59% from the field and 35% from three-point range. He also led the Lions in rebounding with 7.5 RPG. Williams was also selected to the 2020 NAIA Men’s All-Star game and will represent the West Team. The game will be played Tuesday, March 24 th at 6:00 pm.
