Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Leadership
The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) is a 30-hour degree that requires completion of only one course per semester. The DMin program is offered in a cohort model in which students move through the prescriptive program with their cohort. New students are admitted into the program each fall.
Entrance Requirements
Entrance into the DMin program requires a minimum 72-hour Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from a regionally accredited university or professionally accredited seminary. MDiv equivalence may be granted if the applicant has earned at least 72 graduate hours with broad-based work in theology, biblical studies, and church ministry: an earned master’s degree must contribute to those 72 hours. Ministry experience is also a requirement for admission into the DMin program.
Flexibility
The Doctor of Ministry is an online program requiring only 3 cohort meetings during the 10 semesters of enrollment.
Personal Support
Doctoral students have access to all of the University’s technology support, resources, and facilities, as well as a Project Advisor during the research phase of the program.
