SAGU ranked alongside other reputable universities, including Baylor University and Southern Methodist University (SMU). Veterans can choose majors within the following colleges: the College of Bible & Church Ministries, the College of Business & Education, and the College of Music & Communication Arts.

Several other advantages for veterans attending SAGU are the opportunity to earn up to 45 credit hours for prior military experience and training, and the option to enroll in online classes.
