Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) was recently ranked for having one of the best online Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degree programs in the nation by U.S. News and World Report and by Online Schools Report .
Earning an MBA degree is widely considered as one of the most efficient ways to increase your earning potential while gaining valuable knowledge and insight into overseeing business operations for a wide range of industries.
SAGU was excited to implement a couple of significant updates to its MBA program at the beginning of this month, January of 2020. The updated 36-credit-hour program now offers more personalization, course flexibility and the option to complete the degree at an accelerated rate . Students will be able to complete an MBA degree in 12, 18 or 24 months and will have six opportunities to start each year.
“Offering students the ability to complete the program in a way that fits into their already busy lives is one of the many advantages of our updated MBA,” – Dr. Shelly Zaldivar, SAGU’s Business Department Chair.
This update also includes elective flexibility meaning our graduate students can select graduate-level electives that align with their goals. Our elective courses provide an avenue to obtain a skill set specific to a student’s career and leadership interests to complement our already strong core set of courses.
SAGU’s MBA degree program allows students to work closely with business faculty and staff to develop high-level critical thinking skills. Course work includes a deep dive into topics such as organizational strategy, global business, finance and economics, managerial decision making, and statistics and analytics for business professionals.
SAGU’s MBA program was listed alongside numerous other esteemed business schools and universities such as Golden Gate University-San Francisco and New England College of Business and Finance .
Online Schools Report (OSR) used six data points (three school-wide and three-program specific) to conduct this ranking. For school-wide, OSR uses Student Satisfaction, Admission Rates, and the number of programs the school offers online. For program-specific, OSR checks the Median Debt of graduates from that program, how many degrees are offered within that program’s umbrella department, and what percentage of students at that school graduated from that department.
